Roxy: A musical drama (An original screenplay concept by Larry Giorgio)

March 18, 2012 - PRLog -- As the story unfolds, Suzette is drinking heavily and pushing the edge of the envelope with another hard rocker Kay, who she brought into the band to replace her prissy blonde cousin Cherie. Roxy, tells the tale of the cousins, Suzette and Cherie, that in spite of there different life styles, come together to form the girl rock band known as the Roxy Dolls. The group they form takes on a life of its own as success, greed and jealousy  transforms the gritty hard rock group into the corporate run, commercial Glam Rock group: Roxy. Their rock 'n roll raise to fame is told in a backdrop of heart-pounding hits by the Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Ami Winehouse, Lady GaGa, R. Kelly and more...

The music, the girls, the twist & turns, and the beauty of the Tampa Bay Area all come together to deliver 120 minutes of nonstop, feel good entertainment that will have the audience captivated and humming the tunes the whole way through. Think Rock of Ages meets Dream Girls.

The first showing of the Roxy teaser was at The Buzz, Harbor Island, Tampa, on March 8th. This event packed the house with special appearances by the producers and cast members and a live performance of two of the songs from the film, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and "Besome Mucho". Unforgettable!
