Parr Lumber Deploys Event Trailer for Volunteers Working on Housing Rehabilitation Project

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- PORTLAND, Ore. – Leading Northwest building materials retailer Parr Lumber provided lunches for volunteer as part of an 11-site rehabilitation project lead by the Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives, Inc. (PCRI), Saturday, March 3, 2012 In Northeast Portland.

Volunteers of all skill levels will work alongside Cascadia Green Building Council’s Emerging Professionals who will implement upgrades to improve the efficiency, health and durability of the home including air sealing and winterization and water efficiency.

“It’s incredible to see the positive changes a few individuals can make. Parr Lumber is honored to lend a hand fueling volunteers and helping make our community stronger,” said David Hamill, Chief Executive Officer of Parr Lumber.
