Alliance Team Members will be allowed to bring their babies to work and give greater attention to their care during the months when important little milestones begin happening—the first smile, the hesitant reach for a loving hand, all the once-in-a-lifetime events that happen with a growing baby that working mothers and fathers often miss while they're in the workplace.
This is a program that is often talked about in companies, but rarely given the priority status that allows it to be implemented as part of day-to-day business. Alliance realizes that beyond the obvious baby bonding benefits, the program will alleviate the cost of childcare for the first several months while also reducing staff shortages (and temporary staffing) during pregnancy and childcare related leaves of absences.
In other words, this is a program that is good for both the team members and the company—and in the estimation of Alliance Credit Union the Team Members are the company. A program like "Babies in the Workplace" goes a long way toward exemplifying the commitment of Alliance toward their Team Members.
