Students will create three different projects incorporating fire burners, fabric forming, fiber optics, water features and more. They will also receive detailed handouts with essential information about water pumps, fire burner safety, waterproofing for showers, rubber mold making, and more, all with step-by-step instructions and material and equipment lists.
Jeff Girard, President of The Concrete Countertop Institute, says, “So many concrete countertop professionals are incredibly creative and want to reach new markets with three-dimensional projects such as fire pits and water features, but they lack the knowledge and the confidence to step up to the next level and actually execute these complex projects. This class will give them that knowledge and confidence. Students will not only create some super-cool projects, but also truly understand what’s going on behind the scenes so that they are confident there won’t be any problems. As always with CCI classes, they will learn not just how, but why.”
The class is limited to 12 students. Students must have experience in Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), or attend the GFRC 101 class the preceding two days. Further details about the class and registration are available at www.ConcreteCountertopInstitute.com/
