Local N.J. Animation Studio Spoofs Rick Perry’s “Strong” Ad!Two Animators! LLP (2A!) has been hard at work on a new animated short! The short is a spoof of the notorious “Strong” video put out by GOP Presidential candidate Rick Perry on December 6, 2011.
The animated short is titled “Weak” and stars “Rick Parody,” a humorous animated character who, through various acts of cartoon violence, reveals the hypocrisies contained in the original ad. Watch as Rick Parody shoots gay soldiers, lassos President Obama with a heavenly halo, and burns left-wing media stars like Jon Stewart, Anderson Cooper, and Rachel Maddow at the stake. Tom Costantini, the Creative Director at 2A! says, “The short is a fun, entertaining look at the hypocrisy of the original ad.” Joe Costantini, the Animation Director at 2A! says, “I was taken aback when I saw the original ad. Here you have a ‘Presidential candidate’ complaining about a war being waged on his religion, while simultaneously declaring war on gays and anyone else who doesn’t share his beliefs.
