Black & White - "Black Tie Optional"

Dec. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- In Your Eye Gallery, in the Historic Paseo Arts District, presents Black & White - "Black Tie Optional" by the IYE Artists. Opening reception is Friday, January 6 from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Show runs thru Saturday, January 28.

The artists at In Your Eye Gallery in the Paseo have created an exciting black-and-white challenge for themselves. Using their diverse talents in painting, mixed media, fiber art, photography, glass, and jewelry, the artists have put together a dramatic body of work limited to a black and white palette, with the occasional hint of purposeful color peeking through. The dynamic exhibit promises a wealth of visual experience to the viewer.

Eleven artists represented in the gallery with eleven distinct styles are; Annalisa Campbell, Andrea Gardner, Carl Shortt, Jr., Chad Woolbright, Dana Powell, Gayle L. Curry, Michelle Junkin, Natalie Friedman, Nicki Albright, Sue Hale, and Yun Hendricks.

In Your Eye Studio and Gallery is located in the center of the historic Paseo Arts District near NW 30th and Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City. The gallery is owned by a consortium of 10 Oklahoma artists featured during monthly Paseo Art Walks.
