The Weinbach Group Hires Meieli Sawyer as Communications Specialist

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 20, 2011 - The Weinbach Group, a leading Miami advertising and public relations firm, recently added Meieli Sawyer to its team as communications specialist. In her new position, Ms. Sawyer will develop public relations campaigns, copy for advertising, and content for other marketing communications materials.

“Meieli has extensive experience with public relations from a journalist’s perspective, and she understands the approach that best works to establish client media coverage,” said Daniel Weinbach, the firm’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Our team looked for someone who could navigate both the creative and technical sides of public relations, and we found that with Meieli.”

Prior to joining The Weinbach Group, Ms. Sawyer worked as a freelance journalist for six years, writing for print media, photo agencies, and breaking news sites as a masthead contributor. Her coverage included business technology, health, lifestyle, and entertainment.

A native of Vermont, Ms. Sawyer earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University. She also studied at London College of Fashion and Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
