The Weinbach Group will work closely with Jackson’s external affairs team and clinical leadership to develop and implement integrated communications programs for the entire health system, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, which was listed as the nation’s largest public hospital in a September 2011 ranking by Becker’s Hospital Review. In addition, the agency will develop campaigns to grow patient volumes at Jackson North Medical Center, Jackson South Community Hospital, Holtz Children’s Hospital, as well as Jackson’s mental health hospital, its rehabilitation hospital, and multiple outpatient facilities. The Weinbach Group’s efforts will support the health system’s goal of generating a $35.7 million surplus for fiscal year 2013 and ending an era of deep financial losses.
“Jackson’s new leadership has already made great headway toward a dramatic turnaround,”
The Weinbach Group has a long history of delivering effective marketing services to a wide variety of healthcare organizations, from managed care companies to medical device and biotechnology firms. It has also handled a number of hospitals and health systems, including working for more than a decade as the advertising agency for the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
“Everyone agrees that Jackson’s long-term success will be built on growth, and that means more people need to hear about the world-class work being done by our caregivers,”
