Less Downtime for Standard Aviation Maintenance

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Dulles, Virginia – November 28, 2011 – Today Lectromec http://www.lectromec.com released the LEC1006 Arc Track Resistance Tester, the newest arc track test resistance equipment for aerospace components.  This fully modular system provides an unprecedented level of testing flexibility.

The LEC1006 is the fourth generation of the Lectromec Arc Track Resistance Test Equipment meeting the arc track resistance methods SAE AS4373 Method 508 and Method 509 (http://standards.sae.org/as4373d).  The equipment has been engineered to be expandable to accommodate changes or additions to existing arc track resistance test requirements.  By making the unit more modular, customers will experience less down time for standard maintenance. Further, it will accommodate additional configuration changes in the case of wire research beyond the scope of the test standard (http://lectromec.com/Services/TestEquipment/ArcTrackResistanceTestEquipment/).
