Stick insects to headline at Tonbridge’s Me Baby and Toddler Show

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Nature Nuts, which offers first-hand encounters with wild creatures and beastly bugs, has joined a host of other exhibitors such as the National Childbirth Trust at The Me Baby and Toddler Show on Saturday 3 December at the River Centre, in Medway Wharf Road, Tonbridge. There will also be Jungle Fever entertainment from 11am provided by Emporium.  The show has already visited East Grinstead and Croydon this year where it attracted hundreds of visitors.

As the show is so close to the start of the festive season, organiser Kristine Judge has broadened the appeal of the event so it is more like a Christmas fair with products for the whole family as well as many aimed at mothers and babies.

Visitors will the chance to look at everything from hammocks to high chairs and clothing to baby carriers. There will also be breastfeeding products, lingerie, shoes, children’s jewellery, face painting, toys, bibs, books and buggies from 100 local companies. Founder and organiser Kristine Judge, who owns T4Toys in East Grinstead and on line at www.t4toysonline.com, said: “I’m thrilled to be organising a show in Tonbridge. Our other events have been fantastic and people described them as mini festivals.

“Being a parent, especially for the first time, is such as amazing experience but it can be quite stressful. The show makes the complex task of planning your new arrival much simpler. Instead of spending weeks requesting company brochures, visiting shops, trawling the internet and hitting the phone, people can spend one day in a relaxed and focused environment at the Me Baby and Toddler Show.”

Visitors can pre-register for free tickets at www.mbtshow.co.uk and take advantage of special offers. They can also get in free on the day. The show will be opened by Councillor Brian Luker, Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling and there will be competitions including the MBT Show Baby Face of the Year. The first 200 visitors will receive a free goody bag.
