Daniele Favilli Is Invited As VIP Guest To The Torchwood Fan Convention "HUB7" In The UK

Italian born actor, Daniele Favilli, has been invited to attend the Torchwood Fan Convention called, "Hub7" in the UK, as a VIP Guest from Nov 25th through Nov 27th. Daniele will be onsite signing autographs and looks forward to meeting his fans!

Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The HUB7 convention aims to bring together fans of the series from across the world to meet some the show's stars and enjoy various events throughout the weekend. There will be activities each day from guest talks and photograph sessions, to quizzes and late night parties.

Registration will begin at 2pm and the Opening Ceremony will be at 7pm on Friday evening, November 25th! This great event will be held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow. We encourage all to attend and also have the opportunity to meet Daniele!

Daniele Favilli got the attention of thousand's of fan's worldwide, playing the gay lover of Captain Jack which gained him new found fame. Receiving fan mail through email, Facebook, Twitter and other forums, Daniele is happy and amazed at the response that his guest-star role has generated.

Daniele Favilli has certainly made his mark in the entertainment industry since arriving in the United States just three years ago. Known as a well established actor in his homeland of Italy, as well as, throughout Europe, Daniele has delivered impactful performances in TV and Film projects with the BBC (UK) playing the roles of Grifonetto Baglioni in" Raphael: a Mortal God " directed by J. Holdsworth, Pietro Torrigiano in "The Divine Michelangelo" directed by Tim Dunn and Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco de 'Medici in "The Private Life of a Masterpiece". He is also known for the lead role of the mephistophelean Federico Reali in the Italian TV show “Un Posto al Sole”,

Daniele Favilli was born in Florence, Italy. As a proper son of the most important city of Art in the world, Daniele has been involved in many gendre's of art since he was very young: music, acting, painting and writing. As an bor, Daniele has worked in movies, plays and TV shows in Italy, Greece, England, Spain, Sweden and the USA.

Very well respected in his own country, Daniele Favilli moved to Los Angeles to join the Actors' Studio and perfect Shakespeare with Ellen Geer. He has studied at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts "Silvio D'Amico" in Rome, the Actors' Studio in Los Angeles working with teachers such as Ilza Prestinari, a former student of Lee Strasberg and Marcel Marceau, and with Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis.

Two weeks after his arrival in LA, Daniele was cast to play the major role of Sal in the feature film "MOB RULES” directed by Keith Parmer, alongside Lennie James ("Snacth", "The Next Three Days").

"MOB RULES" won the Audience Award for Best Film and The Jury Award for Best Cast at Method Fest 2010 in Los Angeles as well as having received three more nominations for Best Picture, Director and Screenplay. MOB RULES was released by Lionsgate and is now available in DVD.

Daniele is also a Producer and is currently producing Keith Parmer's new feature film “SWELTER”, in which he is also cast to play Kane, one of the leads characters. SWELTER will start principal photography in late 2011.
