"KIDZ 4 KIDZ" Comedy 4 a Cau$e Benefit

March 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, Calif. -- “Laughter is the best medicine!” Hope you’ll join us for an evening of Laugh-Out-Loud comedy on Thursday, March 7, 2013 to benefit Make A Film Foundation (MAFF).  Hosted by Quddus and starring late-night regular, the hilarious and adorable Wendy Liebman, Chad Coleman from "The Walking Dead", "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" and HBO's"The Wire", known stand-up comic Kerri Pomarolli, along with Zach Cumer (iCarly), Miranda May (“The Heartbreak Kid”); musical performances by Greg Scott & Olivia Faye and Special Appearance by Jackson Rathbone (“The Twilight Sagas”),Kaitlin Doubleday (“Catch Me If You Can”) and recording artist, Abraham McDonald and many other celebrities and great performances.

Make A Film Foundation grants film wishes to children who have serious or life-threatening medical conditions and helps them create short film legacies by teaming them with noted actors, writers and directors. They believe the art of film making is therapeutic, offers hope and builds self-esteem. With their ‘VIDZ 4 KIDZ’ program, Make A Film Foundation teams children who have various medical challenges with hand-held video cameras and film mentors to help them create mini-movies about their lives and challenges. Their motto is “LIFE…Camera…Action!”

Other noted industry professionals who have contributed their time and talent to Make A Film Foundation include Directors Rodrigo Garcia (“Albert Nobbs”), Marc Forster (“Quantum of Solace”), Bennett Miller (“Moneyball”), Jon Poll (“Charlie Bartlett”); Actors Bailee Madison (“Parental Guidance”), Academy Award-nominated Hailee Steinfeld (“True Grit”), Jackson Rathbone (“The Twilight Sagas”), Kaitlin Doubleday (“Catch Me If You Can”) along with Kerry Washington, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin and Academy Award-winning writer  Diablo Cody (“Juno”) and many others.
