Subaru South Blvd Helps “Share the Love” in Mecklenburg County

Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Subaru South Blvd is supporting the Subaru “Share the Love” marketing campaign by hosting ‘Make A Dog’s Day!’ Activities include $10 Microchips, a holiday Pet Photographer, Meet canine training experts and adoptable pets, contribute to a pet food drive. All proceeds support CMPD’s Animal Care and Control, an ASPCA organization.  ‘Make a Dog’s Day’ is Saturday, December 3, 2011, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Members of the public are invited to learn more by visiting http://www.subarusouthblvd.com/

Subaru South Blvd is also a collection site for new, unwrapped toys for the Make A Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina to restock the toy pantry for Wish Kids in our community. The public can help “Pack the Outback” with toys from through December 30th.

Based on the love Subaru owners have for their vehicles and their desire to help worthy causes, the Subaru “Share the Love” event, runs from November 19, 2011 to January 3, 2012, and allows Subaru new vehicle customers to select from five charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America, following the vehicle purchase or lease. Over the last three years the program had donated nearly $15 million to its partner organizations.  The five charities participating in the program this year are: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Special Olympics, Make a Wish Foundation, Meals On Wheels Association of America, and American Forests.
