Obviously ... Consumers, Home Inspectors, Consultants, and Engineers needed this information and technical guidance ... ASAP !!!
Well I'm sad to say, the ASTM Emergency Work Group formed to address this specific issue, still has not issued a Standard or Guideline.
As the old saying goes ... "the wheels of justice move slowly" and the ASTM Emergency Work Group progress has moved at "glacier speed" under current Management, Supervision, and Technical Advisor ... after over two (2) years ... NO PUBLISHED STANDARD !!!
