First Live Tree and New Santa House Arriving at Bridgeport Village Nov. 14, 2011

Nov. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- TIGARD, Ore. -  Bridgeport Village, Portland’s premier shopping and dining destination, is thrilled to announce the arrival of the center’s first-ever live holiday tree. The locally grown, 35-foot tall noble will be delivered to center court the morning of November 14, 2011.

Grown in Washougal, Wash. at the Majestyk Mountain Tree Farm, the arrival of the live tree coincides with the unveiling of a new house for Santa. Custom built by the Home Builders Association Professional Remodelers Organization, Santa’s new house will take several days to assemble on the property. Designed to make Santa feel at home in the Northwest, the rustic craftsman-style home will be fully decorated for the holidays and ready for Santa’s arrival November 25.

“Santa’s new house is absolutely stunning,” Kiki Hanover, Regional Marketing Director for CenterCal Properties, owners of Bridgeport Village. “Santa and his new home are going to help make some fabulous holiday photos and memories.”

Santa will arrive November 25 at 7:30 p.m. during intermission of The Beatniks Holiday Concert, presented by Audi. After arriving on the Bridgeport Express, the center’s solar-operated holiday train, Santa will light the holiday tree and then be available for photos in his new house.

Santa will be home for photos November 25 through December 23, 2011, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Santa will also take photos Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information on photo packages and pricing, visit Bridgeport-Village.com
