“I had this idea for a long time,” says Blair. “I knew I wanted to do something about a shadow-filled convent with creepy nuns, but I didn’t know what the story would be about. I let it stew while I worked on other stuff and then came back to it and it was as if the story just flew out of me.”

Blair has had several screenplays optioned, two of which are slated for production in the coming year. He has also had stage plays produced as well as poetry and fiction published. “I think you have to get your stuff out there any way you can,” Blair asserts. “So even though I’ve optioned and sold scripts, I still put the available ones into contests where I’m eligible since that’s just one more way to potentially get them into the hands of producers with whom you might not otherwise connect.”
Despite also being a busy actor, Blair does not envision himself in any of the lead roles should THE SISTERHOOD get picked up for production “Almost all the lead roles are female,” he explains. “Although,”
