Chutes and Ladders– A Sci-fi Microbudget Web Series Premieres September 18th on Koldcast TV

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 15, 2011 - What would you do if you could go back? Web series Chutes & Ladders explores this question when brother and sister Olivia and Alejandro discover a portal that allows them to travel through time.

Los Angeles, CA September 15, 2011 – D&D Films is proud to announce the release of their new web series Chutes & Ladders, premiering September 18th on Koldcast TV.
Chutes & Ladders is an 11 episode web series that follows the adventures of Alejandro (Leo G. Herra) and Olivia (Agnes Barrios-Laffitte) as they move from one time travel chute to the next. Aided by a mysterious figure from the future, Vikram (Datta Davé), they try to piece together the clues left for them. What they discover is something much bigger than they anticipated.  The adventure takes them between past and present and leads them to confront themselves in more ways than they’d imagined. How much control do they have to change the past and how much is already written?

Tired of playing the waiting game with projects stuck in development, creator Miguel Duran decided to make something on his own and delve into the realm of sci-fi. “I had an idea floating around that involved doppelgangers and time travel, so I built it from there.” For Agnes, what stood out about the cast and crew of Chutes & Ladders was their “passion for the work, especially as it pertains to the positive and more inclusive portrayal of Latino Americans.”
