Miss Latina US™ is the first national pageant established in the country exclusively for Latinas. It continues to be the only one whose winner advances to a world competition – Miss Latin America® of the World. Over the years, the Miss Latina US™ Pageant has traveled to various Latin American countries as part of the world pageant system, having been hosted in countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Mexico. In the USA it has been held in Miami (FL), Springfield (MA) and San Antonio (TX).
Vicky Shuler is a former professional dancer with more than 20 years experience in Panamanian Folkloric Ballet. She created the “Viva Panama” dance company in Clarksville to keep this piece of Panamanian culture alive. Her daughter, Mildred Veron is the troupe’s coordinator and manager.
