Jeremy Rappoport Obtains Credential as a Certified Tree Risk Assessor

July 22, 2011 - PRLog -- On June 21, 2011 Mr. Rappoport successfully met the requirements of the Tree Risk Assessment in Urban Areas and the Urban/Rural Interface Course and became qualified as a Certified Tree Risk Assessor, #CTRA 1220.

The course was designed and administered by the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture.  The course is recognized by WorkSafe BC as the standard for assessing tree risks in urban areas and at the urban/rural interface.  This Tree Risk Assessment training defines the Standard of Care for tree risk assessment in urban areas.

Tree risk assessment has two primary goals.  The first is to ensure the safety of people and property.  The second is to improve and promote tree health and reduce future tree hazardous conditions by the practice of improved tree care.  Tree risk assessment is the systematic process that reviews tree risk factors and ranks them in risk categories.
