Jeremy Rappoport Receives Registered Consulting Arborist Designation

SAN DIEGO - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The two arboriculture industry associations that train and administer varoius types of arbiculture certfications are the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA).

The ISA administers training and testing for an individual to recieve a "Certified Arborist" designation.  Becoming a certified arborist is a voluntary act. It demonstrates an individuals ccommittment to providing a higher degree of knowledge and caring of trees.  Certified arborists serve a number of roles for employers including tree service contractors, urban forrestry, utilities, agencies or private practice.

The ASCA administers the designation of Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA). Consulting arborists are the preeminent authorities on tree related matters. Property owners, engineering, landscape architects, legal professionals and insurers rely on consulting arborists for independent, impartial, objective viewpoints for mediating tree conflicts and disputes.

Like the Certified Arborist, obtaining the RCA designation is a voluntary act that demonstrates a person's firm committment toward excellance in the field of arboricuture.  The applicant must enroll and pass the Consultant Academy, a training focused on technical report writing.  After passing the academy, if the applicant has the pre-requisitte education and experience, they may enroll in the RCA process.  After successfully passing two more written reports, the applicant is awarded the coveted RCA designation.

Jeremy Rappoport, President of Rappoport Development Consulting Services LLC is pleased to announce his official RCA #564 designation.  This designation is in addition to Mr. Rappoport being a certified arborist, C-27 landscape contractor, tree risk assessor qualified and professional horticulturist.
