Singularity TotalAgility v5.2 – Process Anywhere: Introducing Mobile and Facebook Applications

London, 5 July 2011 - Singularity is pleased to announce the launch of the latest version of the award winning Business Process Management (BPM) and Case Management suite TotalAgility v5.2.

 
PRLog - Jul. 5, 2011 - Today businesses and employees expect to be able to choose from a variety of on premise and mobile applications in order to get their work done. Using TotalAgility web forms or via its integration with SharePoint, Dynamics CRM and Outlook, Singularity's approach has always been agnostic, delivering BPM and Case Management participation where employees prefer to do their work.

TotalAgility Windows 7, iPhone and iPad Mobile Applications
At v5.1 the TotalAgility product took a major step in its support for communications enabled business processes (CEBP) through its integration with Microsoft Lync. At v5.2 Singularity take this further delivering case participation to the mobile worker through the availability of mobile applications for Windows Mobile 7 as well as for the iPhone and iPad.

The BPM vendors who have added mobile applications to their feature stack have initially delivered unimaginative offers focused on the extension of the desktop to deliver collaboration, task approval and notifications to their mobile process participants. While these are important features they don't go far enough to embrace the significant opportunity for process improvement presented by mobility.

In order to maximize value to the organization Singularity's view is that mobile applications must also embrace the native functionality of the device and deliver context based BPM and Case Management.

In v5.2 Singularity announces the availability of the TotalAgility product's mobile applications focused at empowering the mobile case worker. In addition to providing mobile case workers with access to their task list and delivering the capability to cancel, save and complete tasks, at v5.2 the mobile applications allow the case worker to capture images from their mobile device and upload the image directly into the case folder in which they are working. In addition the process or case may be configured to trigger on receipt of this image thus significantly reducing process delays and human latency within the process.

TotalAgility Facebook Integration
Singularity focuses on giving its customers the choice to participate in their business processes and access their workflows via the application of their choice. At v5.2 Singularity delivers a TotalAgility application which allows process participants to access and perform tasks via Facebook. In addition, within the Facebook newsfeed, process participants can receive broadcasted notes from other colleagues when a significant event has occurred as well as notifications of new tasks.

TotalAgility Internationalization
In harmony with the "Process Anywhere" theme of v5.2 the TotalAgility product extends support for International and Multi-national customers first introduced at v5.1. The TotalAgility product now adheres to the Internationalization (i18n) and Localization (l10n) standards, which define the parameters for adapting computer software to different languages and regions. In addition at v5.2 TotalAgility now enables different events to be triggered in different languages.

Extending TotalAgility and Microsoft Integration
Today Singularity leads the Case Management and BPM market with its extensive integration to the Microsoft product stack. At every release of the TotalAgility product Singularity aims to extend this support. TotalAgility v5.2 delivers enhanced email handling through extension of its integration with Microsoft Exchange. In addition, Dynamics CRM integration is further enhanced allowing clients to select from Dynamics CRM 2011 as well as versions 3 and 4.
