PRLog - May 31, 2011 - The Business Solutions Team http://www.mjcgroup.co.uk/business-solutions adds to its already extensive product range with the addition of two new A3 colour multifunction systems, which change the way businesses process documentation. The new Sharp MX-4112N and MX-5112N are aimed at medium-large sized workgroups within larger businesses, or small-medium sized businesses (SMBs/SMEs) requiring higher print / copy volume capabilities. The new innovative 10.1 inch W-SVGA colour touch screen for previewing ensures that documents can be edited, re-arranged, rotated, pages deleted or added to a job before it commences, so that user errors are minimised and the potential to waste toner and paper are drastically reduced.

Head of Business Solutions, Andrew Smedley sees this new feature as a step forward in document management technology and says “The new Sharp MX-4112N and MX-5112N are important additions to the Business Solutions portfolio, as we always strive to provide solutions to our customers that are both cutting edge and cost effective.” He adds “The new User Interface also provides the future gateway to Cloud Computing and the opportunities that the new Sharp OSA 4.0 development platform will bring to the marketplace.”

The MX-4112N and MX-5112N offer print and copy speeds of 41ppm and 51ppm (pages per minute) respectively in both monochrome and colour. In addition, the product supports Postscript 3 as well as XPS printing, enhanced compression kit for the creation of smaller files for scanning. Plus a new web browsing kit enables users to browse the web via the MFPs User Interface and print web pages, and PDFs direct from the web without the need for a PC.

MJC http://www.mjcgroup.co.uk/ are dedicated to minimising their impact on the environment and these new devices further support their commitment. The new MX-4112N and MX-5112N have a newly developed fusing and toner system so that less toner is used on the paper, which has two major benefits. The first is reduced power consumption and warm-up time as a result of the fuser having to heat to a lower temperature in order to fuse the toner to the paper. This process also reduces toner consumption and ensures toner goes further as a result, without impacting on print/copy quality. Overall, the new MX-4112N and MX-5112N have power consumption figures (TEC) some 69% lower and warm-up times 76% lower than previous models.

The new models also sport a new white LED scanning lamp replacing the old Xenon lamp, thus contributing to the overall reduction in power consumption figures. In addition, the new models have an Eco Scan function which ensures that the fuser is not heated during scanning and faxing operations when it is not required.
