Oil and Gas Job Search building on US presence – aiming to double client base within 6 months

April 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Online job site, Oil and Gas Job Search, is marking its intent to make a greater impact in the US with its first appearance at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in May.

OTC is located in Houston and is the world’s leading oil and gas industry conference and exhibition with an anticipated number of delegates in excess of 50,000.

The UK headquartered Oil and Gas Job Search currently has about 10% of its clients in the US within a global client base of over 1,000. Its global online database of oil and gas professionals is over 320,000.

Oil and Gas Job Search is currently on an expansion drive opening up a new office in Perth, Western Australia at the start of 2011 and is following it with a new base in the United Arab Emirates.

Roberts states: “We are also looking to open an office in Houston, Texas.  It will primarily help initiate and build relationships with clients looking to recruit in a market where skilled and experienced staff are in high demand.”

He adds “The oil and gas industry is currently buoyant as the effects of the downturn are fading. The number of oil jobs posted has increased significantly in the last 12 months.  It makes sense to meet the upward growth curve of the industry with more investment in developing our key markets, of which the US is a prime location for us.”
