RIPPLE-TRAC is a tool for software maintenance and software modernization that scan 'development assets', and provide maintenance engineers with 'knowledge' about these assets. We refer to RIPPLE-TRAC as a software analytic tool. RIPPLE-TRAC includes ONE parser that processes multiple programming languages unlike the typical software analytics tool that includes a parser for selected programming languages. The proprietary parser supported by RIPPLE-TRAC determines the software assets that can be processed by RIPPLE-TRAC. In the software maintenance context, a 'software analytics' tool (RIPPLE-TRAC) RIPPLE-TRAC support many codes/ languages from COBOL to JAVA and can map z/os system components. To mention a few areas of interest, there are processes for: RIPPLE-TRAC for CICS RIPPLE-TRAC for IMS RIPPLE-TRAC for VSAM RIPPLE-TRAC for DB2 RIPPLE-TRAC for BMS RIPPLE-TRAC for SYS1.PARMLIB RIPPLE-TRAC for JCL Critical Path Software Inc., is a Mainframe Performance Tuning and Cost Reduction Consulting Company and creator of the Industry's most powerful and unique performance optimization and cost reduction data bases and tools – TurboTune.
