iPad 2 Lands In The UK 25th March | Pricing Details

March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Get ready for Apple’s latest incarnation of it’s tablet PC – the iPad 2. Set to be released in the UK on 25th March, the iPad 2 was originally launched in the US on 11th March to great fanfare.

The iPad 2 is thinner and lighter than the original iPad. It is also faster, featuring a dual-core A5 processor, and sports two cameras – one on the front and one on the rear - great for video calling.

The iPad 2 will be cheaper than its predecessor - prices start from £399.99 for the basic 16GB model, all the way up to £659 for the 6GB 3G model. This is £40 less than the equivalent original iPad model upon launch.

As well as directly from Apple stores, a subsidised iPad 2 3G will be available with a data plan from Orange and T-Mobile (now known as everything everywhere), Vodafone and Three networks. O2 have confirmed that they will not be offering the iPad 2 on their network.
