Mark Ziemba Elected To Board Of Directors Of The Boy Scouts Of America, Orange County

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Mark Ziemba, a partner in the firm’s Orange County office, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), Orange County Council.

The BSA is one of the nation's most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. The Orange County Council is among the 20 largest BSA councils in the nation, serving over 40,000 youth members with the vision to make a direct and lasting contribution to the development of every boy and girl in the country.  

“My son experienced the BSA scouting experience in Orange County and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout,” said Ziemba. “Having the opportunity to participate as a director of the Orange County Council allows me both to return the favor the BSA did for my son and to contribute to the success of other fine men through the BSA.”

Ziemba's practice is focused on representing high net-worth individuals and multinational corporations involved in inbound transfers to and outbound transfers from the United States, with an emphasis on an integrated worldwide income, gift and estate tax approach. He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California at Irvine and his J.D., with great distinction, from University of the Pacific where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Ziemba went on to receive his LL.M from New York University.
