Lupus Foundation Milwaukee Benefit - Guest Speaker Actress Jasmine Guy

In the spirit of love, local Milwaukee fashionista, Crystal Stotts (The Total Experience Group), has organized an entire Valentine’s Day weekend of dining, fashion, music and networking to help raise funds for the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) (www.Lupus.org).


“This is all about increasing Lupus awareness and bringing people together for a great cause”, said Stotts, organizer of the LFA fundraising event namely: “Break the Stereotype: A Fashion, Music & Network Benefit”.  “What better weekend to have this, than on a national weekend where we dedicate ourselves to showing others how much we love them”.

Festivities will run weekend of February 11-13, 2011.  Kick-off evening will offer a music filled networking/silent auction event on Friday February 11, 2011 (5pm-11pm) at the “Chic Lounge” (131 N. Jackson, Milwaukee), followed on Saturday February 12, 2011 by an exciting fashion and music show which will begin at 6:00pm at the beautiful “Harbor Lights” – MKE Transit Center (909 E. Michigan Street, Milwaukee, WI).  Special guest speaker actress Jasmine Guy (Different World) will be in attendance along with a headlining music performance by artist “Cory Rocklen” (www.CoryRocklen.com).  “I’m delighted to be part of this great event, Crystal Stotts and her group, have worked hard to organize this fundraiser”, said Rocklen.  “I want to continue to help my community with my music and any other way possible”.  Other acts to follow show include dancers, poets and other fun musical performances.  

This fundraiser will conclude on Sunday February 13, 2011 with a special Valentine brunch/silent auction at the Chic Lounge (10am-2pm).
