Online Tv – The One To Watch

Set up originally as a video production company, producing corporate and promo videos for major UK brands, the business soon expanded its operations into the online market.

Stormnet quickly identified the huge growth potential and additional revenue that can be made from subscribers as well as advertising within the real estate following the success of their previous TV projects. This in turn lead to a number of new jobs being created within the business, bucking the general trend in the video production industry.

“We are expecting to make significant inroads in the online TV market as we see subscriber rates increasing and the number of channels through which people can access the media ballooning with the advent of faster internet speeds and the rise in popularity of devices such as Apple TV. We’re already working with a number of major UK and US brands on developing business online TV channels to capture niche market revenues in the New Year. This should see yet further jobs being created in our video production, creative and online engineering teams” said Nick Roberts, TV producer at Stormnet Media which has offices in Alvechurch and Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK.

The business already employs 14 full-time and 4 part-time staff and are always on the lookout for creative people to join the company.

Stormnet is looking to continue to invest profits back into the business and its new business online TV channels have already attracted major funding from prospective advertisers and content sponsors. “We taken a big step forward in the last couple of years and our tried and tested workflow has helped us build considerable capacity for production output. This has meant that our programming and broadcast capability now rivals some of the big players in online TV in both Europe and the US and has certainly helped us secure our new contracts”
