Ice Age Ended By 12 Degree Earth Axis Tilt in 10,000 B.C.

New research has uncovered evidence that an Earth Axis Tilt in Ten Thousand B.C. was responsible for the sudden climatic end of the Ice Age. Researchers reached this conclusion using the Milankovitch Theory,  a theory created by Milutin Milankovitch, a Serbian civil engineer and mathematician.
Milankovitch divised his theory during the First World War. To that point there was no explanation for how or why the different Ice Ages came and went. Milankovic mathematically theorised that variations in Earth axial tilt, eccentricity, and precession in the Earth's orbit determined climatic patterns on Earth.
His theory predicted, with some accuracy, the onset and retreats of the Ice ages based on variations of the Earths orbit around the Sun. However, new findings by the United States Geological Survey paleo-climate study have revealed serious challenges to the accuracy of the Milankovitch Theory of the Ice Ages.  
According to research provided by the USGS Research Program, Devils Hole cavern in south central Nevada is a "500,000 year temperature record of unprecedented accuracy". These findings suggest variations in temperature that do not conform with the projected model of the Milankovitch Theory.
The findings at Devil's Hole are supported by similar findings from the Vostok  paleo-temperature records derived from ice core samples in Antarctica. The marine ice volume records from Antartica tie in well with the Devils Hole temperature records.  Together, these findings seemed to signal the death of the Milakovitch Theory.
It was at this point our researchers realized that an Earth with only a 10 degree or 12 degree tilt, rather than the present 23.5 degree tilt, would vertually remove the descrepancies between the Milankovitch Theory, the Devils Hole Nevada temperature records, and the Vostok ice volume records from Antartica.
But where was the precedent to be found that would support the contintion of an Earth Axis Tilt. After much research, the precedent was found. Not in the Geological records as might be expected, but in the historical records of our distant past.
Two ancient text, The Dialogues of Plato, and the sub-biblical text, The Book of Enoch (Book of Noah), describe an Earth Axil Tilt. Plato even gives us the date of this Axis Tilt. That date, 10,000 B.C.
Here is the Enoch text:
65-1"And in those days Noah saw the earth had tilted and that it's destruction was near."

Here is the Plato text:
"The story has the fashion of a legend, but the truth of it lies in the occurence of a shifting of the bodies of the heaven, which move round the earth"

Plato did not say that the Earth Tilted, but that there was "a shifting of the bodies of the heaven, which move round the earth". But Plato considered the Earth to be the stationary center of the "Cosmos"
These two text alone do not allow us to say conclusivly that there was an Earth Axis Tilt. But combined with the Milankovitch Theory, the Devils Hole records, and the Vostok records, they provide in interesting insight into another possibility.
