Community Health Centers’ New Brand Targets Families Seeking Affordable, Quality Medical Care

Oct. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Community Health Centers’ new brand reflects the vibrant diversity of the Orange and Lake County communities, and its commitment to serve as a friendly medical home to those residents. Community Health Centers (CHC) is a family of ten neighborhood clinics that provide high-quality, comprehensive and affordable medical, dental and pharmaceutical care. CHC employs more than 300 healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, and pharmacists.

“At CHC, our family care services are designed to meet the needs of your entire family – regardless of their age or medical condition,” says Tanya Stewart, CHC’s CEO.  She continues, “The top priority of our caring staff is the health and well-being of all patients by providing individualized attention in a compassionate, supportive environment.”  CHC accepts most types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid and offers a reduced sliding fee schedule based on income. Financial counselors are available to assist patients find and enroll in state, local and federal programs for which they may quality for.
 
As more families are now seeking a medical home as part of the nation’s healthcare reform, CHC continues to welcome children and adults alike as new patients. As a non-profit health center, CHC is unique in that patients may choose a primary physician to see for regular visits. This approach is especially successful with the center’s pediatric and obstetrics patients who are able to build a relationship with one healthcare provider. Patients also have easy access to a full array of services such as pharmacy, X-ray, and laboratory. Having accomplished such a successful model of community-based healthcare, CHC decided it was time to make it easier for residents to recognize its centers.  Previously, each of the ten centers had a separate name, and now all facilities will carry the name Community Health Centers.  New facility signs will be put in place and a new website is being designed, all to provide a customer-friendly experience for the organization’s patients. This re-branding is part of CHC’s ongoing commitment to be on the forefront of patient care and the area’s leading advocate for quality healthcare, in a safe and supportive environment, for all residents.
