Greennii™, Live Greene And Green Halloween® Will Host A Free “Green Your Halloween Fête”

Oct. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Greennii™, a green vetting and sustainability resource firm, is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Green Your Halloween Fête, scheduled for October 14, 2010 at the Live Greene Store in Palo Alto, CA. The event, hosted in conjunction with Live Greene and Green Halloween®, will offer attendees a variety of eco friendly Halloween ideas, ranging from organic recipes to tips on how to green your “Big Kid’s” Halloween party.

The inaugural Green Your Halloween Fête will feature an eco fashion show, a costume exchange, a raffle, and complimentary food and drink including organic candy, sustainably farmed hors d’oeuvres, and biodynamic wines. As the event’s aim is to raise awareness within the Palo Alto community of sustainable Halloween practices and highlight local green businesses, admission to the Fête is free and all ages are welcome.

In addition to a lively program of activities and entertainment, the Green Your Halloween Fête will feature clearly posted tips on how Halloween celebrations can be more eco friendly, ranging from non-toxic face paint and makeup recipes to recycled costume ideas. The tips will be available to download post-event on greennii.com and livegreene.com.

The Green Your Halloween Fête will give away gift bags full of sustainable products, coupons, and non-toxic goodies to the first 200 guests who RSVP on the event’s Facebook Page. Attendees are also encouraged to use the Fête as an opportunity to find their 2010 Halloween costumes. To participate in the costume exchange, event-goers must simply bring their gently-used adult and kid costumes to Live Greene on the evening of October 14th.
