Famous Savannah Cat Has Grown And Achieves A Second World-record

Sept. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA – The largest cat on earth has achieved the unachievable!    The Draper Family, owners of  “Scarlett’s Magic”,  spent the past week in New York City with the Guinness officials to celebrate the extraordinary cat’s placement in the 2011 Guinness Book of World Records now on sale worldwide.  The local celebrity and famous cat is one of a select few Guinness World Record holders that actually make it into the famous annual book.  “Obtaining a Guinness World Record is a huge accomplishment in and of itself, but making it into the 2011 Guinness Book is simply a dream come true!”, exclaims Kimberly Draper.  

But the excitement doesn’t stop here.  Officials at the Guinness Book of World Records confirm that Scarlett’s Magic has grown to an impressive 18.07 inches in height for an official update to her previous record for Tallest Cat in the World.  Guinness officials have also confirmed she was awarded a SECOND Guinness World Record for Longest Cat in the World at an impressive 42.72 inches in length.  

“This is such an incredible honor for our family pet to achieve TWO world records!  We are so excited and grateful she is a part of our family.  This could not have happened to a more loving, beautiful animal”, says Lee Draper.  

Scarlett is a Savannah Cat, a unique, intelligent and loving domesticated cat with the look of a wild plains hunter and the docile nature of a family’s most loyal pet. A cross between an African Serval and a domesticated breed, Savannah cats can be walked on a leash, learn how to fetch and often enjoy playing in water.
