This year’s conference theme is “Litigation and Discovery in a World of Technology,” and will be held Oct. 4-6, 2010 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

The Masters Conference brings together leading experts and professionals from law firms, corporations and the bench to develop strategies, practices and resources for managing the information lifecycle. This year’s conference will focus on how corporations can protect themselves against the risks associated with global, mobile, and cloud-based opportunities and challenges. It delves into legal hold strategies, international privacy laws, high-profile scandals, security breaches, IP threats, increased litigation, audits and regulatory investigations.

At the Masters Conference, Kroll Ontrack will host two sessions. On Monday, Oct. 4, “Cutting Through Corporate Clutter: Making ESI Preparedness & Response a Priority” will explore recommendations for implementing, testing and evaluating an ESI Discovery Policy. On Tuesday, Oct. 5, “Safeguarding Sensitive Information: Data Breach and Security Trends in 2010” will explore security trends and discuss best practices for breach prevention and incident response. Both sessions will take place from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. in the International Gateway Room.
