Piedmont National Black MBA Association presents the 3rd Annual Career Fair & Networking Reception

The Piedmont Chapter of the National Black MBA Association will host the 3rd Annual Career Fair and Networking Reception on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Emerald Event Center. Companies are recruiting business professionals. FREE EVENT!

Sept. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- GREENSBORO— The Piedmont Chapter of the National Black MBA Association will host the 3rd Annual Graduate & Professional Career Fair and Networking Reception on Thursday, September 9.  It will feature strong Fortune 500 companies and local businesses, actively seeking business professionals to fill corporate roles.  

The career fair and networking reception is a full day of activity starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9.  All events will be held at the Emerald Event Center, located at 2000 East Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, N.C.  The first series of events are the development workshops.  These workshops will feature a speaker who will discuss “How to Present “You” as a Brand” and “How to Stand Out at a Career Fair.  In the second half of the workshops, corporate recruiters will conduct a resume review from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  These workshops are a complimentary service and a great way to prepare for the career fair later that afternoon.

The career fair will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. and will run until 6:00 p.m. Many Fortune 500 companies including Wells Fargo, Pepsi Beverages Company, Family Dollar Stores, LabCorp and more will be seeking the best candidates.  Companies are recruiting MBA’s, undergraduate business majors, and business professionals seeking employment to fill a variety of roles in IT, Marketing, Finance, Healthcare, and more.  This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.

In the evening, the Piedmont chapter will host a networking reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  This is a great opportunity for companies and prospective candidates to mix and mingle with business professionals.  All Career Fair events are FREE and OPEN to the public.  Register at www.triadnbmbaa.org.
