Aug. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- St. Louis, MO  – The University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Business Administration invites participants to the inaugural business forum, Small Business Roundtable & More, which starts September 10, 2010. This exclusive, 10-month program is designed to provide business owners and key decision makers with the opportunity to network with peers and learn specialized business strategies and tactics from experts.

The Small Business Roundtable & More will consist of small groups of 9–15 business leaders from non-competing companies that have parallel needs. Guided by experienced facilitators, participants will select key topics of interest, which will become the focus of roundtable discussions. These high-impact workshops include peer-to-peer networking, quality training, one-on-one counseling sessions with expert coaches, and access to UMSL faculty and resources, all in a confidential and controlled setting.

Participants will team with fellow executives to discover ways to be more competitive in today’s difficult economic environment. Topics of interest will likely include issues from legal, financial, management, marketing and human resources. Business faculty members will serve as facilitators of each session and will select experts in the topics chosen to join the group for training and discussions.

An application form is required to ensure that all participants meet the criteria needed to be part of the program. Participants must be key decision makers, lead companies that have been in business at least two years, have at least three full-time employees, and generate sales or revenues between $500,000–$10 million.
