Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Franklinville, North Carolina – On Tuesday the 24th, NAIM Corporation submitted a rather unique proposal to Jim McCleskey, the Director of NC Governor Perdue’s Washington DC office.

NAIM Corporation (North American Innovation & Manufacturing Corporation) is developing patented “Green” Disaster Resistant Roofing Systems for homes and other steep slope structures. These systems are expected to withstand winds higher than Hurricane Category 5 strength, be easier to install than any other system in the world and reduce labor costs by as much as 75%. These systems are also expected to reduce leak potential by as much as 90%, provide the future potential to use solar technology and more, while still providing 100% recyclability and with a projected end user cost for installation comparable to today’s typical asphalt shingle roofing systems.

The proposal, in summary, requests that the State of North Carolina invest $5 Million in NAIM Corporation to provide the company the funds needed to progress into and complete its Advanced Development Phase. In return NAIM Corporation is offering the State of North Carolina a 5% Net Profit share for the next decade in addition to the normal tax revenue generated by the company’s operation. As an added benefit, the company anticipates using many North Carolina resources during the Advanced Development Phase as well as during the manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution of these systems which could create 5000 or more jobs directly and an untold number of jobs indirectly.

In an email sent to Mr. McCleskey of the NC Governor’s Office, the CEO of NAIM Corporation stated, “...we feel this type of proposal would likely be supported by the citizens of North Carolina since it reverses the current concept of companies requesting tax breaks, incentives and other tangible benefits to establish a business in our State and instead introduces the concept of a North Carolina based company demonstrating its appreciation to the State and its citizens for helping build and grow a company that is proud to call North Carolina its home.”

A copy of this proposal was also sent to Jane Miller of U.S. Congressman Coble’s office, as a courtesy, for referring NAIM Corporation to Mr. McCleskey and the Governor’s office after a personal meeting with Congressman Coble in April of this year.

NAIM Corporation has also considered extending this same offer to counties and municipalities of North Carolina, should the State decide not to pursue their proposal.

The OmniMax Roofing Systems – (which loosely translated means “Maximum Allness Roofing Systems”) is listed as a “HOT 100” innovation on the US Department of Commerce Sponsored, National Innovation Marketplace and their market report suggests $6.4 billion or more in annual sales for these systems in the U.S. alone.

Further information on these systems can be viewed on their website at: http://naimcorporation.com/.
