Party for a cause with The Men’s Room Original Red Ale

Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Join 99 Bottles and Elysian Brewing Co. as they celebrate the retail bottle release of Men’s Room Original Red Ale on Wednesday, August 25th.

Men’s Room Original Red Ale is an Elysian beer that extends a co-brand nod to the rockin’ afternoon drive show, The Men’s Room, which airs in the greater Seattle area weekdays 2 6 p.m. on KISW 99.9 FM.

Bottles of Men’s Room Original Red Ale go on sale Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at 99 Bottles, located just 2 blocks from Exit 142B at the Crossings Center in Federal Way. In celebration of the bottle release, the specialty beer store will also be commemorating the event with a special beer tasting featuring five Elysian beers. For just $1, and valid ID, you can join in the party and taste the Men’s Room Original Red Ale, Avatar Jasmine IPA, The Immortal IPA, Dragonstooth Stout, and Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.

“The Men’s Room Original Red has been available on tap but now you can pickup bottles to enjoy at home,” says Tiffany Adamowski of 99 Bottles. “Original Red pours a lovely crimson color. It’s a pleasant, balanced ale with flavors reminiscent of caramel-drizzled nut bread, a hint of cocoa, and just enough Cascade and Chinook hops for balance. Elysian Brewing tells us the beer should be available in bottles for the rest of the year.”

A portion of Elysian Brewing Co.’s net proceeds from every Men’s Room Original Red Ale sold goes to helping support the families of our military vets through the VA Puget Sound Fisher House and Ft. Lewis Fisher House (fisherhousevaps.org).
