The Wine Bar, Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, Announces New Chef, New Menu & Revamped Wine List Stocked with Wines From Boutique Wineries

June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Many fans already know that the chic http://www.ahwinebar.com Wine Bar in Atlantic Highlands is the hippest place at the Shore to meet friends for a cocktail or glass of premiere wine. But now, with a new dinner menu and revamped wine list, the Wine Bar is the perfect place to linger for an entire evening.
Owners Courtney and Michael Rosa are pleased to announce their exciting http://www.ahwinebar.com/menu2.html new dinner menu infused with wine-friendly global cuisine and a totally new http://www.ahwinebar.com/menu5.html wine list with 150 labels and more than 20 wines by the glass.
Setting the scene for the area’s most exciting and unique dining experience are new Executive Chef Brian Imbriale and Sommelier Jim Ryan.
“Our new wine list is filled with exciting wines from boutique vineyards,” said Mr. Ryan. “Most are family-owned with small productions. The Wine Bar offers one of the most unique, yet approachable, wine lists at the Shore. The stylish setting, the new menu and new wine program harmoniously work together creating a heightened level of dining experience.”
While many patrons already are raving about their favorite, delicious tapas created by Chef Imbriale such as the Yellowfin Tuna Tartar and the Risotto Flight, they are just beginning to discover the tasteful sensations of his intriguing dinner entrees that are expertly paired with wine suggestions by Mr. Ryan, such as:
Baby spinach salad with pistachio encrusted goat cheese, strawberries and a vanilla bean champagne dressing. It’s paired with a sensual sparkling wine Juves y Camps Reserva de la Familia Brut Cava from Spain; Crab tower with fresh colossal crab, mango salsa, and guacamole with a mango cilantro vinaigrette, paired with Lieff Sauvignon Blanc 2008 from Rutherford, Napa, California;   Roasted center cut filet mignon over a gorgonzola, bacon and scallion potato cake, with baby vegetables and a bordelaise sauce, paired with Fisticuffs Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 from Napa, California.
The Wine Bar - with its smart, contemporary atmosphere, lofty open-view of Atlantic Highlands  – has added even more reasons why it is on the A-list for those looking for a great night out on the town.
