A Toast to Helping Homeless Pets

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter hosts a wine tasting to benefit the homeless animals at the Shelter.

May 24, 2010 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, May 19, 2010 more than 120 vinophiles gathered at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park to enjoy a fantastic evening of sampling fine wine and spirits while helping to raise funds to benefit the homeless animals at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.

As guests visited the numerous vendors, they were treated to tastes of interesting pino noirs, flavored vodkas, special sangrias and everything in between. There were more than 90 samplings presented by 15 vendors.  In addition to an extensive selection of beverages, attendees also enjoyed fine chocolates from J Emanuel Chocolates and had the opportunity to bid on many wonderful items in a silent auction.

The Wine Tasting was chaired by Mt. Pleasant Board Members, Lynn Bailey and Dr. Abe Van Beveren.
