"Website Deal Sets Record Selling Company off on a High Note"

FDC has struck up a harmonious relationship with a record selling company after signing a deal to design a new website.

May 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Paul Wilson, director and founder of ‘Musicmatterz’, set up his music selling business from his home in January 2010 with the concept of selling music on-line, and turned to FDC after being let down by a former agency.

The idea around the business is similar to that of rivals such as Amazon and play.com, but with one key difference: to offer rarer material, rather than mainstream content, while sticking to cheap and cheerful prices.

When Musicmatterz was first launched, Paul and his wife maintained the website, but as the business grew quickly, Paul turned to FDC for help.  

Paul said: “It’s so easy to get seduced by sales patter, and this was where I fell down before. FDC is different - what they offered seemed attractive and they were on the same wavelength with me and my ideas. I learned a lot, quickly. ”  

FDC is currently designing a website for Musicmatterz that will enable Paul to manage the orders he receives with ease, while the look and feel will make him stand out from fellow competitiors.

Paul added: “What I liked about the FDC team is that they were honest right from the beginning. They told us that there were some things that they couldn’t do, but a lot that they could do.”

FDC Sales executive Gregg Randall closed the deal with Paul. He said: “When I initially contacted Paul, he was very nervous as he felt he had been let down by a previous company.

“My approach was to invite him into the studio and show him the issues and reasons behind why the site did not work. Paul could soon see the improvements the site needed, which gave him the confidence that we would deliver what he needed and within a short time-scale. It’s a simple approach, but it will work well!
