Ipswitch Division Builds Product Management Strength to Speed up Innovation and Meet Market Demands

May 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Lexington, Mass.-Ipswitch, Inc., the developer of the WhatsUp Gold suite of innovative IT management solutions, today announced it has hired two product directors to accelerate innovation and and spearhead strategic and tactical initiatives that will enable the company to meet evolving market demands. New to the company are Brian Gollaher as director of product management and Marina Gil-Santamaria as director of product marketing.

Gollaher will be responsible for managing the award winning WhatsUp Gold IT Management Platform and WhatsUp Event Log Management product lines and he will be working to move these solutions into the most competitive position possible in the market. Gollaher brings more than 25 years of experience in network management, computer networking, and telecommunications to the company and has held roles in marketing, product management, business development and product development.
Gil-Santamaria, who is Pragmatic Marketing® certified, brings to Ipswitch, Inc.'s Network Management Division 13 years of experience in managing network management and enterprise application software. In her new position, Gil-Santamaria will drive messaging and competitive positioning strategies and will employ her extensive experience in product marketing best practices as she helps build the next generation of WhatsUp Gold solutions to solve the complex problems the company's users are facing today, and in the future. Gil-Santamaria will also serve as a sales resource for Ipswitch, Inc.'s direct sales force and channel partners.
