MONTCLAIR, NJ The next Montclair Arts Council’s semi-annual Montclair Gallery Walk, “A Little Night Art VI,” will take place on Friday, May 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.
This spring’s free, self-guided gallery tour is bigger and better than ever with a record 13 galleries participating – three of which are new to town. The MAC invites everyone to come and enjoy art, meet and mingle with fellow art enthusiasts and enjoy a glass of wine and other refreshments.
Once again, the Art Bus will be offered for visitors who want to park just once and hop on and off at all the stops. Park for free at the Montclair Art Museum (3 South Mountain Ave.) or the Montclair Main Public Library (50 South Fullerton Ave.) and take one of two shuttle buses to all the galleries. Those wishing to bike from gallery to gallery can join Bike&Walk Montclair outside the library at 6 p.m. The museum's galleries will not be open this evening.
End the evening with a special Gallery Walk prix fixe dinner at La Couronne at 23 Watchung Plaza (973-744-2090)
This year’s gallery tour participants will have the chance to win two great prizes when they visit six or more galleries. First, get validation stickers on your Gallery Card at six galleries. Then, mail your card to the MAC and be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to a Montclair restaurant.
