PRLog -- Bariatric Surgery Central was created by 2 individuals who personally saw a need for safe and reasonable costs in Bariatric Surgery that is seldom found within the United States. We both have gone through the process of Lap Band Surgery in Mexico within the last year. Miguela had here surgery completed in July of 2009 and at this date as lost a total of 50 pounds and is on track to her goal by end of the year. As Miguela stated this has been a life saver for me as I have yo-yo'd with dieting my whole life and I finally found something that works, is minimally invasive to my body and is showing great results. Miguela being in her mid 30's knew when the time was right for a change in her life and wanted to be able to set an example for her sons. Her family has been impressed with her results and are looking to schedule with BSC as soon as they are up and running full speed. Maggie being 58 and being to old by some standards in the United States, also scheduled her surgery in January of 2010 and began the process with a trip to Juarez and many interviews to local surgeons to seek out the best. Having had my surgery less than 2 months ago, I have lost approximately 25 pounds and feel that staying within my current pattern I should be able to see my final results by the beginning of 2011. With Bariatric surgery one should expect to lose approximately 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per week. You never feel hungry and you learn new and better eating patterns. If and when you do feel hungry you simply find a Bariatric Surgeon in your location and have a fill completed. As happy and very satisfied customers of Bariatric Surgery we felt the need to help others as we were seeing various prices being offered by the same companies depending upon ones ability to pay. We felt this was out of line for many of us have little or no insurance and the guidelines in the United States requires one to be a minimum of 100 pounds overweight following strict guidelines for counseling and past records of some weight loss for a least 1 year. At this point, many had lost the drive to lose weight and still found it hard to get insurance approval in the United States. We hope that Bariatric Surgery Central will fill that need for safe, secure and reasonable priced surgery for everyone.
