Feb. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- National Outdoor Sign, a Michigan corporation that works with high schools in several states – helping to raise funds through the sale of advertising sponsorships around sporting venues, has been taken over by MediaRyt.  MediaRyt is a multimedia firm that handles internet marketing, and now, real-world marketing efforts.

“With this new acquisition, our operations expand into the brick and mortar world of advertising – increasing our portfolio of advertising mediums to include hundreds of high school sporting venues around the country,” says MediaRyt’s marketing director.  “While increasing the size of our offerings, we are also very happy to gain the opportunity to help a number of schools to raise much needed funds for their sports programs.  In a time where budget restraints are causing cutbacks in extra curricular activities, high school sports marketing is providing a lifeline to keep sports programs alive & helping future professional athletes to make it to the next step.”

National Outdoor Sign was formed in the early 1990’s as a media company, offering banner and floor graphic advertising in local shopping malls & centers.  The firm later began working with city and county public school districts to develop non-intrusive in-school advertising programs; settling on sporting venues as the most suitable locations for sponsorship placements (in most cases, booster clubs have primarily been responsible for seeking out advertisers on a piecemeal basis).
