Feb. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Experian has had a history of deceptive advertising, but their latest claim might very well put them in a tight spot.

FreeCreditReport.com is a nationally recognized name, thanks to its catchy jingles and media advertisements found on television, radio, and Internet websites. The ads clearly mention a free credit report, but Americans soon find that the term free is used loosely.

Erica Possin is the lead plaintiff in the case. She consulted a law firm after finding that she had been billed for several months after she had registered with FreeCreditReport.com. The Wisconsin college student hopes to recover the funds of her and thousands of Americans across the nation.

Experian has had a history of a poor reputation with consumers. The Better Business Bureau currently shows over ten thousand complaints have been submitted- making Experian one of the most-complained businesses in existence.
