Gold Coast Bank, headquartered in Islandia, Long Island, NY, has appointed Joseph Santacroce as Vice President for Commercial Lending. Mr. Santacroce, a specialist in commercial real estate lending, will report to Senior Vice President for Commercial Lending Gary N. Lombardi. He is a resident of Port Jefferson, NY.

With more than 30 years in banking on Long Island, Mr. Santacroce has held a variety of senior positions in real estate lending. As a Vice President at Astoria Federal Savings, he was responsible for developing a commercial real estate construction loan department within the commercial real estate division. He also served as Vice President for Real Estate Lending at First Trade Union Bank, responsible for commercial loan originations, administration of active construction loans, and cross-selling bank products. He served for more than 20 years at Roosevelt Savings Bank, becoming an Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Lending Department.
Mr. Santacroce is a New York State Licensed/Certified Real Estate Appraiser and a Certified Environmental Inspector. He is a member of the Columbia Society of Real Estate Appraisers, the Environmental Assessment Association and the Community Bankers Mortgage Forum.
