A workshop for learning how to naturalize both private and public spaces is being offered by Quality Parks on St. Patrick's Day - March 17th, 2010 at the Port Jefferson Village Center.
Discussions will include such topics as:
* surrounding natural areas
* invasive species control
* growing and buying native plants
* action planning for parks and residential areas
There will be break out sessions and ample time to exchange best practices.
