Potential offensive player of the year, Percy Harvin of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings missed all of last week's practices and was sidelined for Sunday's game against the Bengals due to migraines. For many, it's difficult to understand how a standout pro football player can miss a game due to a headache.
Harvin has suffered from migraines since he was ten years old. His plight emphasizes the common misperception about migraines. They are more than simply a bad headache. Migraine is actually a very complex disease with numerous causes. Harvin's coach, Brad Childress admitted after the Vikings Harvin-less victory over the Bengals that migraine is "a thing that none of us have a great feel for. They are so wide-ranging and people report different things. It's different for different people."
Although Harvin has seen several doctors over the years with mixed results, he may benefit from a visit to the dentist. Research has shown that an FDA approved biteguard called the NTI-tss reduced migraine events by 77% in 82% of users. Pharmaceutical therapies are most often prescribed and while usually effective, they're typically accompanied by adverse side effects. While the NTI-tss Plus is not the prevention option for every migraineur, it's certainly worth a consultation with the dentist. To learn more about the NTI-tss Plus, visit www.TheHeadacheRemedy.com.
