MANILA, Philippines—
Radjie Zaragoza of Albay and Chenee Capuyan of Davao City bested other hopefuls from across the country and earned the honors of representing the Philippines to the global search for Voice of McDonald’s. Both Zaragoza and Capuyan, members of 8McDo and McDonald’s Philippines, are winners of the local competition held last August at the Star Theatre, Pasay City. Zaragoza won 2nd runner up while Capuyan took home top honors as the local Voice of McDonald’s champion.
The Voice of McDonald’s singing competition, which will take place in Orlando, Florida, gathers McDonald’s employees from across the world. Each semifinalist will upload a performance song and video to showcase their vocal prowess and talent to a worldwide audience. The top 12 who garner the most number of online votes will battle it out in the McDonald’s 2010 Worldwide Convention in Florida for the $25,000 prize and become the global Voice of McDonald’s Grand Champion.
