Sustainable Design Group of Atlanta is announcing the release of its new book about aquaponics, a way to grow fish and vegetables in a recirculating, soil-less system. The Aquaponics Guidebook offers readers a complete tour of the concepts, the technology and how it's used around the world. The illustrated book is available as a PDF download and features dozens of hyperlinks that enable readers to explore projects around the world, as well as detailed background information on the technology and science of aquaponics.
The Ecologist, a UK-based environmental magazine, has praised the book as " the ultimate inspiration for anyone interested by the idea of producing vegetables and raising fish on a micro-scale and in a sustainable way." ( Full review: http://www.theecologist.org/
